    Hello. We are sailing Dec.2015 and i was wondering how shopping was done on the ship. Do we need to carry cash or our debit card with us or does everything get charged to our stateroom and we pay at the end of the stay? same for alcoholic beverages. thanks

    Welcome aboard, Monica!

    All onboard transactions are cashless and you'll only need your Key to the World Card to handle any purchases while onboard. Your stateroom charge account will already be setup with your payment type (credit or debit card, etc). So, if you pay for anything onboard, they will only ask for your card -- you'll sign the receipt and it gets charged to your stateroom account. Transactions may include anything that you purchase at the onboard gift shops, alcoholic beverages, spa treatments, adult-exclusive dining or classes, etc. 

    This means you don't even need to bring a wallet around the ship with you. You'll be fine with just a lanyard or a tiny purse. Your Key to the World Card is also your stateroom door key... so don't lose it. Anyone in your stateroom can be assigned charging privileges... even the kids. So, if you don't want them to charge anything on their card, you can request that this be turned off. My son would rack up charges at the Arr-cade if he's given a chance.
