Ahoy there, Gina! Welcome aboard planDisney! Looks like you're looking to wax the board, shoot the curl and get out on the water...
Oh...surf the WEB...as in the internet...
(puts surfboard away)
Joking aside, as someone who has sailed on the
Disney Wish before, I'm happy to share that Disney Cruise Line's updated internet package options are a big improvement from the previous versions and there are multiple options for you to choose from.
The new internet package options are called "Stay Connected," "Basic Surf," and "Premium Surf" and during my last cruise, ranged in price from $10-$30 per person, per day. Each tier offers different levels of connectivity - for example, the "Stay Connected" plan is a perfect option for...er...staying connected...on social media sites, but doesn't support web pages, email, or video streaming. As you step up through the tiers, you'll be able to browse webpages, check email, and even stream music!
Specifics will be available in the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app as soon as you board so you can select the right package for you! Please remember prices are subject to change without notice.
When it comes to bringing aboard your own water, you can definitely do so, but it must be brought aboard in one of your crew's carry-ons. It's important to remember that the beverage stations aboard the Disney Wish do have water available 24 hours a day, and there are even water-filling stations down on Deck 4 outside as well! My family likes to save that weight and space in our luggage for souvenirs and usually brings reusable water bottles so we can always stay hydrated - it still gets warm down in the Bahamas in December!
I hope that helps you set a course for your adventure, Gina! I hope you and your daughter have an amazing time on the newest ship in the fleet! Thank you so much for your question and if you have any others as your cruise approaches, please drop us another line here at planDisney!
SEA ya real soon!
