We are sailing on our 2nd cruise on the Fantasy in Oct. Is it true that the Eye Scream ice cream machine has been removed from the pool deck area? My kids loved that and would be so disappointed if it wasn't there this cruise. Thank you so much!

    Ahoy, Mary!
You'll be happy to know that the Eye Scream ice cream machine is alive and well on the Disney Fantasy! I, too, would be devastated if it was removed, it's our favorite hangout spot!

Our first stop after boarding a Disney Cruise is always the Pool Deck to grab a quick soft-serve ice cream cone. So what if we have our dessert before lunch? We're on VACATION! I must admit - at home, I would never, ever dream of eating an ice cream cone (or two...or three) every day for a week. Put me on a Disney ship, and it seems like a great idea!  We also like getting a cup from the drink station, putting a bit of soda in the bottom and making an ice cream float - YUM! I've heard they've been serving Mango soft-serve on the ships recently, I can't wait to try it!

No worries if you're craving some soft-serve while at Disney's private island, Castaway Cay...they have an "all-you-care-to-enjoy" ice cream machine right there on the island!

Well, I guess the secret's out - I'm a fan of the ice cream machines on a Disney Cruise. (I'm sure it's a pretty big fan club!)

I hope you have a magical, fun-filled vacation on the Disney Fantasy! I scream, you scream, we all scream for Eye Scream! - Diane W.
