Hello! We are sailing Concierge on the Fantasy in April. We would like to reserve a Grand Cabana for our family and know they go fast. Should we reach out to the Concierge team 5 days before our date to make requests, or will they contact us?

    Ahoy there, Bryan!

Thank you so much for sailing by planDisney with your Concierge question. My family and I have been fortunate enough to enjoy the Concierge experience several times—and we’ll be sailing Concierge again this January aboard the Disney Destiny! Let me tell you, you and your family are about to create some truly unforgettable core memories. A Disney Cruise is already full of pixie-dusted magic, but Concierge service? It takes that experience and lifts it to a whole new deck!

Now, let’s dive right into your question. The Concierge team will reach out to you about five days before your booking window opens. In their email, they’ll go over a few important reminders, such as:

    • Requests are processed in the order they’re received
    • All offerings are subject to availability
    • Early requests cannot be accommodated—anything sent before the booking window will need to be resubmitted at the correct time
You’ll also find helpful information in that message, including Port Adventures, onboard activities, specialty services, and cabana pricing for destinations like Disney Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.

One of my favorite Concierge perks is being able to send your requests right through email. Here's a little trick I use personally: once the initial Concierge email arrives, I draft my message with all my requests, then hit send the moment the clock strikes midnight on my booking day. Since requests are processed in order, this gives you a great shot at grabbing those high-demand offerings, like a cabana. Using this method, my family has been able to secure cabanas multiple times—including the incredible Grand Cabana at Lookout Cay! Of course, everything is based on availability, but this strategy has worked wonders for us. You can also call in once your window opens if you prefer.

And while you’re enjoying the Concierge lifestyle onboard, don’t forget one of our favorite perks: early access to the Theatre! Arriving ahead of the crowd means you can pick those perfect front-and-center seats. And trust me, the shows are already magical, but you can really feel the stage performers front and center.

Bryan, I hope this helps you prepare for your upcoming voyage. If any other questions pop up, please sail back our way.

    See ya real soon,

    Christina
