Ahoy, Courtney!
Welcome aboard planDisney! There’s nothing better than waking up on the final morning of your first sailing knowing you don’t have to go home just yet because you’re doing a back-to-back! My crew and I love these sailings because you get extra time to squeeze in those activities you couldn’t fit in the first time around. And if you’re lucky enough to stay in the same stateroom for both sailings, it’s smooth sailing—no packing up required!
I get so excited about back-to-back cruises that I’m tempted to veer off course, but let’s set our heading back to your parking question. While processes can change, what we’ve done in the past is let the parking garage attendant know we’re sailing back-to-back. They’ve been able to manually process the payment for the full duration, covering both sailings in one go. Currently,
parking is $17 per day plus tax, and that rate includes both the day of arrival and the day of departure.
On your first sailing’s final evening, keep an eye out for a letter from
Guest Services in your stateroom. This will include your debarkation and re-boarding instructions, what to do if you’re changing staterooms, and where to meet in the morning. Once you’ve completed the quick turnaround process and re-boarded, you may even find a little extra magic—such as a stop at
Marceline Market (or another location) for complimentary specialty coffee and snacks while you wait for the rest of the ship to be ready. Think of it as a bonus “sail away” moment before round two!
I hope this helps you chart the smoothest course possible for your back-to-back adventures. If you ask me, it’s double the fun, double the magic, and double the pixie dust—because
on the Disney Wish, every day feels like “the best day ever.”
Sea ya real soon as we ride the wave of summer’s final stretch in Disney style,
Dustin
