We're sailing on April 6 2012 for the 1st time to celebrate my sons 15th bday; he doesn't turn 15 until April 27 though. My questiion is should I/can I tell them its bday even though its 3 weeks early and will they treat him like its his bday?

    Hi, Jillian!

Congratulations on your Disney cruise next spring and your big guy's birthday! When you made your reservation, you should have been asked if your family was celebrating anything while you're on board.  Not many guests are fortunate enough to time their cruise for the exact occasion -- they may be a little ahead or behind the actual date. So go ahead and celebrate, and make sure your son's birthday celebration is noted on your reservation by going online to the Planning Center on DisneyCruise.com or by calling (800) 951-3532.

Once you're on board, you'll want to remind your head server at dinner so that your teenager can be sufficiently embarrassed when they bring out a special dessert and sing "Happy Birthday" to him!

You just reminded me that my daughter will also turn 15 next spring, and it gave me a little panic attack.  I've got to teach another one to drive?  Wow! I'm starting to get gray hairs just thinking about it!  Best wishes to you, and let me know if I can answer more questions for you.

Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
