Jennifer from AZ Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

We are sailing April 15-18 2022 on the Dream. Can you tell us what our theme nights are so we can pack appropriately? Thank you!

Ahoy there, Jennifer! Welcome aboard the decks here at planDisney! You're just a few days away from an incredible 3-night itinerary on the Disney Dream! I can't overstate how exciting it is to be so close to embarkation day, with all the excitement reaching a fever pitch and the magic starting to become real - I hope you and your crew are feeling as excited as the very first time you experienced Disney magic!

You're in prime packing time! The weather forecast is coming into view over the horizon, making it easier to decide exactly what clothing you'll plan to bring! Have you checked out Disney Cruise Line's suggested packing lists? They're a real life-saver when it comes to the shorter cruises, since cramming all that's included in a Disney Cruise Line vacation into three nights means multiple "costume changes" and clothing for everything from nightclubs and lounges to adult-exclusive dining and everything in between!

When it comes to theme nights on shorter sailings, you may be surprised to learn that officially, dining attire is cruise casual in all three main dining restaurants, meaning no swimwear or tank tops. One night is typically designated an "optional dress-up night" so be sure to check your Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once you board for details! I'm personally a "cruise casual all the time" kind of guy, but occasionally on a shorter cruise I actually bring a few dressier options to throw into the mix! If you and your crew are thinking about dressing up, please do so - you definitely won't be alone!

And while your Disney Dream itinerary doesn't have a Pirate Night scheduled, don't be surprised if you see some fellow castaways breaking out some of their buccaneer garb anyway! And be sure to keep an eye on your Disney Cruise Line Navigator app after you board for any last-minute changes to these plans - you never know with pirates!

Well, Jennifer, I'm sure jealous that you and your crew are so close to sailing away on an exciting adventure. It's been too long since my family and I did the same, and I think "landsickness" is setting in. I hope you have an incredible time on the Disney Dream, and if you happen to see Captain Minne, tell her "Hi" for us! Thank you so much for your question, and if any last-minute questions bubble to the surface in the next few days, please drop me another line here at planDisney!

A DREAM is a wish your heart makes!
