Ahoy Kristal!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm thrilled to see a question from a fellow SC resident. I'm hoping you are counting down the days to your Disney cruise and
all the magic that's included, both for adults and kids.
I'm happy to hear your son previously loved hanging out in
Vibe and made so many connections there. It truly is a phenomenal experience for teens. But good news! Disney Cruise Line has created the 1820 Society, a social group for guests 18-20 years old. Hey, it makes sense to name it that, right? It offers planned events for young adults who have bridged the gap from the Youth Clubs, but still want to spend time with their peers. Check the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app for the daily schedule of these events. Be sure he attends the first 1820 Society event because it’s typically an icebreaker and gives everyone a chance to get to know one another!
This may be a whole new world for your son in the best way because he can now enjoy any of the adult exclusive spaces onboard the ship like
Quiet Cove Pool;
Senses Spa and Salon;
Cove Café; and dinner or brunch at
Palo. My daughter is the exact same age and cannot wait to try Palo for the first time and also have a massage in the spa! Truth be told, her mama is excited about doing those with her, too!
Just like Aladdin, rub the lamp and send us more planning questions. Happy to be your planning Genie!
Happy Sailing!
