Sailed on the Dream in July. Planning to sail to Canada on the Magic next July. Will we be disappointed that the Magic is not as nice as the Dream?

    Ruth, Ruth, Ruth....

As the Disney Cruise Mom, I often am asked to compare the four ships of the Disney Cruise Line (DCL) fleet -- to which I liken to trying to contrast my four children.  Each bring different things to the table and personalities all their own!

So much like my first- and third-born children are the Disney Magic (the first ship in the DCL fleet) and the Disney Dream (the newest and third ship to sail for Disney). Although the Disney Dream has taken what is wonderful about its predecessors and added more pizzazz, the Disney Magic is a classic ship -- elegant, comfortable and amazing in its own right. Plus, the Disney Magic is well traveled and has perfected the art of giving guests that magical Disney touch so far from Florida. I'm actually sailing on the Disney Magic in December and can't wait to experience again the intimacy of a smaller ship with fewer passengers.

Therefore, there will be no disappointment...just a different feel. Yet, you'll be quite familiar with the same standard of excellence in Disney service, entertainment and attention to detail. Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
