Hi Carla!
Thanks for sailing to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Oh my gosh, your Alaskan adventure is just days away! You will be in awe of the scenery and landscape surrounding the Disney Wonder as she slowly makes her way up the fjords. This itinerary is one of my favorites that Disney Cruise Line offers. I think you're going to love it, too!
It's always such a treat to get dressed up for dinner while sailing the high seas with Captain Mickey.
Most of the restaurants aboard Disney Cruise Line are "cruise casual." With that being said, there are often themed nights throughout the voyage when Guests are encouraged to dress up! The semi-formal and formal evenings create the perfect opportunity for a family photo taken by one of the
onboard photographers before dinner!
Although dressing up for both the semi-formal and formal nights is completely optional, I've seen Guests wearing a wide range of attire during both of the Alaskan voyages I've been on. On formal night, Guests may be in full-length evening gowns and tuxedos to summer dresses, shirts with ties and khakis. During the semi-formal night, Guests often wear summer dresses, blouses, slacks, button down shirts and jackets. There were plenty of adventurers wearing nice jeans and sweaters, too!
Carla, packing up your treasure chests can sometimes be a tricky time. If you haven't done so already, take a look at the
Packing List for Disney Cruises! I find the suggestions given to be quite helpful! If you have any other questions, please come back and visit us again.
