Hi there, Katelynn! How exciting that you'll be sailing soon with Captains Minnie and Mickey! Thanks for dropping by with your question as you prepare for fun and adventure aboard the
Disney Dream.
As the new Lilo & Stitch movie will be premiering May 23, there is a chance that you could be treated to a midnight premiere at sea on your final night onboard the Dream. I can't guarantee it, but I'll definitely say there is a chance! One thing that's important to note, you likely won't see anything listed on the Daily Activity Schedule within the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app for the movie on the day you board the ship. Movie premieres are typically listed the day before or even the day of, if the movie is showing a little earlier than expected. A Crew Member once told me onboard that they won't put it on the schedule until they know the movie has been properly delivered to the ship and is ready for the premiere.
If you are a returning guest of Disney Cruise Line, you already know that the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app will chart your course for all of the
activities, exciting entertainment offerings, and delicious dining aboard the ship. If this is your first sailing, be sure you've downloaded the app before you leave home. Once onboard, you can scroll through the Daily Activity Schedule to see all that is planned for your voyage. If you'd like to be sent a reminder for any activities of interest, be sure to enable app notifications and click the heart icon next to anything you'd like to be reminded about. The notifications arrive about 15 minutes in advance of the activity. That's usually enough time for me to get from the pool deck where I'm soaking up the sun with an ice cream cone in hand to wherever I need to be on the ship.
I hope that information helps! Katelynn, if you have additional questions, steer yourself right back to planDisney to ask. My pals and I will be here for you!
Bon Voyage,
Adrianna
