Hi Diane!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your
10-Night Southern Caribbean cruise aboard the Disney Fantasy will be such an unforgettable voyage! I bet you're getting so excited! I love daydreaming about all the delicious dinners I'll be eating while sailing with Captain Mickey.
I'm happy to share with you when the formal and semi-formal nights will be at the Table Service restaurants during your cruise. Although the dining rotation is subject to change, you are correct! The formal night is currently scheduled for the first full day at sea. The semi-formal night is scheduled for the last full day at sea.
The guidelines regarding dressing up for dinner (on formal and semi-formal nights) say that dressing up is optional but suggested. A sport coat would be lovely to wear during formal night! Although dressing up for formal and semi-formal nights is encouraged, I've seen Guests wearing tuxedos, Guests wearing nice jeans and Guests wearing everything in-between! Disney Cruise Line just asks that swimwear and tank tops are not worn in the Table Service restaurants while onboard. My family and I love taking the opportunity to get a great family photo taken by one of the
onboard photographers stationed in the Atrium lobby before dinner!
Diane, I hope I was able to help in the planning for your upcoming cruise! If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to sail on back and visit us again!
