Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jeff! I see that your vacation is only a few weeks away! Springtime is absolutely gorgeous at the Walt Disney World Resort. The air is fresh, the weather is warm and the parks are in full bloom. And... if you really want to really experience blooming, make sure to carve out time for the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival where the topiaries are the star of the show.
Jeff, I am also happy to say that you will find lots of
Gluten-free menu options all around the Walt Disney World Resort. If you are planning to dine at any
Table-Service locations, I would make your server aware of of the dietary restriction as soon as you are seated and request an allergy friendly menu. If you have any questions, you can ask to speak with the Chef and he or she can walk you through your options. Quick-Service locations will also have Gluten-free choices as designated. In my experience, the Walt Disney World Resort caters to guests of all dietary restrictions and allergies with the upmost care. I hope you have the same opinion when you return home.
One final recommendation I have is to check out some websites of frequent Walt Disney World guests who share their favorite Gluten-free options. One I like is www.fairytalefoodie.com.
Jeff, best wishes for a vacation filled with Magical memories and tasty treats! Come on back and see us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with any other questions you might have.
Thanks for stopping by,
Lauren
