Hi, is it safe for 1 yr old on Toy Story Mania & Buzz lightyear spin rides? Family of 4 with kids 1&3 - guessing it will be too tight to fit all of us in one cart. Do we do child swap or get on 2 separate carts: me carrying baby & hubby ride

    Hi Jenny!

We've had the experience of riding Toy Story Mania with a 4 month old and Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin with a 7 week old.  Both times, we were told that they baby MUST be seated in my lap at all times, and under the lap bar/restraint device.  We very successfully and easily rode both attractions.  I didn't feel that it was unsafe under any circumstances, but ultimately it's up to you.  I will warn you that Toy Story Mania spins around quite quickly, so I am very conscious of where my lap child is at all times and support them appropriately.

As far as seating configuration, we've had 3 in a ride vehicle (me with baby on lap and other child) while my husband rode solo, OR I've been solo with the baby while my husband rode with the other child (this is when we were just a family of four).  Now we ride with me and baby on my lap with one of my sons, and my husband rides with other one.

    Have a magical vacation!
