Hey there, hi there, Katie! Welcome to planDisney. We are thrilled to have you stop by to ask us a question.
Your upcoming visit is quickly approaching and I'm sure you are busy packing and prepping. If you will be using a stroller in the parks at Disneyland Resort there will be stroller parking areas all throughout the park for you to easily park your stroller while you ride an attraction or two. Please keep in mind sometimes the parking areas can overflow and if so a Cast Member may move your stroller to another spot in that area.
As far as personal items, anything of value should remain with you while you are riding the attractions. I recommend a backpack, tote, or diaper bag to easily throw most things in. When we were a stroller family, I would keep jackets and snacks in the stroller storage area, but bring a bag to keep everything of value and concern with us at all times. There are
lockers available to purchase for the day, however, those are at the entrance of the parks and so that isn't super convenient to go back and forth after each ride. Depending on the day and if I have a jacket or not, I bring a backpack for myself and have no issues bringing that on any ride even the
Incredicoaster or
Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: BREAKOUT! For those rides, I just put my leg through one of the arm loops and it stays securely with me at all times. Otherwise, most rides have plenty of room to put your bag at your feet. Easy peasy!
Protip - If you have little ones, don't forget about the
Baby Care Centers! These are lovely additions to the park where you can go for feedings and diaper changes. It's also a great spot to take the potty-training littles as well.
Katie, I hope this information is helpful for your upcoming visit. See you real soon!
