Hello!! How safe is it to buy tickets at Sam's Club? I would like to buy them there to save a little but I am afraid that on park day they will tell me that my tickets are not valid.

Hey there, Azucena, and welcome to planDisney! It’s great to see you hear planning your next Walt Disney World vacation. I’d be more than happy to get you one step closer to the Disney bubble, and hopefully, help you save some coins along the way. Let’s be honest, saving the coins is almost as important as the actual vacation!

Azucena, I have had the opportunity to help a number of guests of the planDisney panel navigate their Walt Disney World Vacation planning with Theme Park TIckets purchased through third-party vendors. So purchasing Theme Park Tickets through Sam’s Club should not cause any issues with your Disney Vacation. And if you do run into any trouble, you will know long before you reach the Theme Park entrance!

After you have completed your ticket purchase, you will receive a ticket order number or confirmation number from Sam’s Club. This number will be used to link your purchase to your My Disney Experience Account. If you haven’t already, I recommend downloading the My Disney Experience app to your mobile device before your vacation. The My Disney Experience app gives you a vacation command central right in your pocket! With the app you can check wait times, mobile order food, link Disney Photopass pictures, and much more! After your My Disney Experience account is created, link your Theme Park Ticket purchase to your account using the linking tool. You will be prompted to enter the ticket id number or confirmation number you received from Sam’s Club in the ID Number box. Simply enter the number, and your tickets should automatically link to your account. If you run into any issues, you can reach out to a Cast Member at (407) 939-7679 for further assistance.

After your tickets are linked to your account, be sure to make Disney Park Pass reservations as soon as possible! You currently need valid Theme Park Tickets and park reservations to successfully enter the park. You will need to make a park reservation for each day you plan to enter the Theme Parks. If you haven’t picked your park dates yet, I recommend reviewing the Reservation Availability Calendar to ensure that your desired Theme Park has availability for your planned visit date. Whew, I feel like I’ve been talking for a while!

I hope this helps, Azucena! Here at the planDisney panel, we would love to continue to offer recommendations as you plan the vacation of your dreams. So please stop back by if you have more questions!

You’ve got a friend in me,
