On an (saddly) extreme budget is the quick dining menu worth it or should we just stop by a grocery store to get groceries for 12 days

Howdy Louann and welcome back!  Thank you for sharing your question with the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

We have experienced a Walt Disney World Resort vacation on a variety of budgets.  We have purchased a Disney Dining Plan on some vacations and have bought groceries and opted to not have the Disney Dining Plan on other vacations.  If you plan on bringing food to the parks and strictly sticking to the food you bring, then that may be a less expensive way to go.  I have tried that in the past and found that we ended up purchasing food and snacks in the parks anyway.  I have also tried adding up my purchases with my grocery bill, snacks in the parks, and those random Dole Whips that I could not resist and found out I spent more than if I had purchased Disney’s Quick-Service Dining Plan.  Also with the Disney’s Quick-Service Dining Plan it took the stress away from counting how much I was spending.

Whichever direction you choose to go, your vacation will be unforgettable!
Since your vacation is still a few months away, keep checking the Walt Disney World website for their special offers.  My family and I love the free dining offer that comes out periodically.

Thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  We love to help, Louann.
