    i am so sad i guess i waited too long to book a character dining reservation and now everything is booked up, do openings ever come up at the last minute I am 14 days away from my trip.

    Hi Tracy!
    Don't be sad...you are heading to the Happiest Place on Earth (well, that's Disneyland, but you get the picture).
    Even though reservations may seem booked right now, cancellations can and do take place every day. I suggest you keep calling the dining line from now right up until your trip. Persistence pays off more often than not in the case of character dining. In addition, if you don't get your preferred reservation in the next two weeks, you could make one final try by approaching the dining Cast Members to see if ANY walk up times may be available. I would absolutely not give up. Here's hoping for a little extra pixie dust for you and your family!! :)
