Hi Sarah!
The Wine and Dine and Princess half marathons have very different courses, so spectator viewing areas also vary.
The Wine and Dine does not have as many accessible spots for spectators. Your mom can be at the finish area, and she can buy a ticket to the after-party at the International Food and Wine Festival at Epcot. ( I highly recommend it!) Last year, some of our friends were waiting for us on the bridge over the lake around Disney's Boardwalk area. They were able to catch us before we re-entered the Epcot area. Visit the
Wine and Dine website and click on "Spectators" for more information and tracking tools.
For the Princess, my favorite spectator spot during the race is on Main Street U.S.A. in the Magic Kingdom. All spectators are allowed inside the park to line up on Main Street to cheer their runners on. (no theme park ticket is required) She can take the monorails to Magic Kingdom and then back to Epcot for the finish. For reserved seating in both areas, and other amenities, have her check out the chEAR squad packages that are available for the Princess race. Again, visit the
Princess Half Marathon website and click on the tab "Spectators". There is information about chEAR squad packages and other spectator tools.
Please let me know if you have other questions as you prepare for your two races!
