    I am running the Wine and Dine 1/2 in November. I hear that AKL-Kidani, where I'm staying on my DVC points, is NOT a host resort. How can my husband and I get to the race and Finish Line Party and back home so late?? I don't want to worry about this!

    I hope you are getting excited for the 2015 Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon! It will be here before you know it. 

    You are correct, Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge - Kidani Village is not a host hotel for this tasty race. However, I have heard they are looking into adding this amazing resort as a host, but that has not yet been confirmed. Here is the best way to handle your transportation needs on race night. 

    To the race: 
    • Take theme park bus transportation to Epcot Theme Park and board race transportation there. Epcot is where guests driving in have to park due to the race starting at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex and ending at Epcot, so runDisney is providing transportation from Epcot to the Wide World of Sports. Please allow plenty of time to utilize this route. I suggest boarding theme park transportation to Epcot by about 7:00pm to allow for travel & transfer time. 

    • MEARS Taxi Service is the officially endorsed Taxi service of Walt Disney World® Resort. There will be plenty of Taxi's available at both Kidani Village and Jambo House. You can anticipate to pay about $15.00 to get from Kidani Village to the Wide World of Sports. This is also your quickest option. I would make sure you are getting into a Taxi by 8:30pm. 

    After race & Finish Line Party:
    Your only option here is a Taxi - many Panelists have had success with Uber, but I have not tried it.
