We're running the WDW 1/2 Marathon and our daughter is doing kids race at 11am. What's the best way to get to WWOS after the half marathon to meet the in-laws and our daughter? Do you think we'll have enough time to get there from Epcot finish line?

    Hi, Jackie!

Thank you so much for your question. Walt Disney World® Marathon Weekend presented by Cigna® is runDisney's premier event weekend where runners from all over the world converge to run the most magical miles on earth. I hope you are excited!

Without knowing your starting corral or your anticipated finish time, it's hard to say for sure if you will make it to the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in time to see your princess run. My best guess, if you run at an average pace, and are at least in one of the middle corrals, you should be fine. However, please note there is not direct transportation to the Complex from Epcot® or the finish-line area. You will need to take event transportation back to your resort hotel (or to a resort close to the Wide World of Sports Complex) and then transfer buses. Another option, if you get in a real time crunch, is to take a taxi service from Epcot® to the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.

I hope this helps give you an idea of what you'll need to do on race morning to meet up with your family. Please reach out to me if you should have any further questions, Jackie! I am here to help!

Have a magical family race weekend!
