    Hello! We are running the WDW 1/2 in Jan, and we are staying at POR. How early should we get on the bus to make it to the race in time? Thank you for all of your help!

    It's great to hear from you again! When staying at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside during a runDisney race event that starts at Epcot®, the earlier the better! While you will actually see the start line and corrals from the bus en route to the Start Zone, the location of this resort makes it one of the farthest away to where race transportation will unload. Not to mention buses from this area of Walt Disney World® Resort will be the hardest hit with traffic. 

    Bus transportation will begin at 3:00am on race morning, and I highly suggest trying to board a bus by 3:30am. I know it's early, but the anxiety that comes with getting stuck in major traffic is worse. The one time I waited to board a bus at 4:00am from Disney's BoardWalk Resort, I had to run straight to my corral! I haven't missed an early bus since then.
