I am running the Princess 1/2 Marathon in Feb. My question is, does my husband have to buy a chear squad package to see me finish or cheer me along the way? We are planning a small vacay around this and are on a budget. Trying to account for all the costs!

Hi Katie!  You will love the Princess Half Marathon!  It was my first Disney race and it gets better and better every year!

Your husband does not have to be on the chEAR squad to see you along the course and at the finish.  The chEAR squad does offer priority seating areas in front of the castle and at the finish line, but he is welcome both places.  My favorite places to see my loved ones is as I run up Main Street U.S.A. toward Cinderella Castle, and of course, I love to hear them yelling my name at the finish line!

If you go to the Princess Half Marathon website, and click on "Spectator Resources", there is a great spectator tool he can use to help him out.

Please let me know if you have any other questions!
