    I am running in the Princess 10K in February and have a couple of questions. What is generally the weather for this run? I am brining my mom to cheer me on what do I need to do so she can be at the finish line? Is there a medal for all participants?

    Hi, Emily! 

    I'm so excited for you to be running the inaugural Disney Enchanted 10k! This royal weekend is sure to be amazing. It's hard to believe it's almost here! 

    With regard to the weather, it's hard to predict exactly what we will get. Florida temperatures can fluctuate a good bit this time of year. In my experiences running Disney's Princess Half Marathon I've seen perfect running conditions as well as very warm and humid conditions. When deciding what to wear on race day, pack two options. One for warmer weather and then a few key pieces to layer with it in the event it cools down. If you plan on wearing a costume, choose pieces you can layer underneath. Additionally, pack a few "throw-away" pieces to peel off at the starting-line or once you get warmed up- these garments actually get donated by Disney.

    How exciting it will be to have your mom at the finish-line. Your best option is to consider a chEAR Squad package for her. There are different levels you can select based on your needs. The Gold Level offers reserved grand stand seating at the finish-line on a first come, first served basis. Of course, she will also have the option of lining up along the fence near the finish-line.

    As far as receiving your medal, volunteers will be waiting proudly at the finish-line to adorn you with the Enchanted 10k Finishers Medal. I hope this information has been helpful for you, Emily!
