I am running the marathon at Disneyworld in January. I was wondering if you could tell me which sports drink will be handed out during the race? Thank you!

Hi Jocelyn! Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Hydration during the Walt Disney World Marathon is very important. It can definitely be a bit warm and humid in Central Florida, even in January. POWERADE is currently the sports drink you will find on the course. To give you an idea of how the course was set up in 2016, here are the details: A total of 19 DASANI® water and POWERADE® stops will be located along the course. All stops offer water and POWERADE®. There will be five food stops located along the course. Chiquita bananas will be available at Mile 11.4 and Mile 18.3. Clif Bar products will be distributed at Mile 15.4 and Mile 19.4. Sponges will be provided at Mile 17.1, and candy will be available at Mile 22.5. The 2017 marathon should be very similar. I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Hydration during the Walt Disney World Marathon is very important. It can definitely be a bit warm and humid in Central Florida, even in January.

POWERADE is currently the sports drink you will find on the course. To give you an idea of how the course was set up in 2016, here are the details:
