I am running the marathon Disney 2017, how can My husband and kids cheer me on? Where do they go? Is there a cost for they to be at the finish line? This is my first time Help me! All information is welcomed

    Hi Luisa!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

No worries!  You will be fine:)

Your husband and children can definitely watch you at the finish line.  They don't have to pay to be there, but there are some spectator packages available that offer reserved seating and other amenities.  If you follow this link to spectator resources for the Walt Disney World Marathon, you will soon find information about the different ChEAR Squad packages available.  Details aren't finalized (as I type this), but I anticipate that they will be soon.

Again, they don't have to purchase these packages to be able to be at the finish line, or any other spectator viewing areas.  A few weeks before your event, you will receive a link to an Official Event Guide that will have detailed information for spectator viewing.  It will tell you where spectators can go, mile marker locations and transportation information.  This guide is a valuable resource for runners, so be sure to read it thoroughly.

I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions.
