I am running my first 1/2 marathon with my son and niece in January. We have reservations for late breakfast at Ohana, 10am. We will definitely be in the back of the running pack. Can we make it to Ohana or should I reschedule? 7 nonrunners going too.

    Hi Sally!

Congratulations on signing up for your first half marathon!  You have picked the perfect place to begin your running journey:)

If I were you, I would try to get a later time.  If you are starting in one of the last corrals, you may not even cross the start line until close to 6:30 a.m.  If it takes you around 3 hours to finish, I don't think you would get to Ohana in time.  The traffic that exits after a race can be pretty heavy, if you are driving.  If you plan to take the monorails, I also think you would be running late.

I hope this helps and I hope you can get a later time!  Good luck with your training and please let me know if you have any other questions.
