Hi!! I am running my 1st Disney Princess 1/2 Marathon in February and I was wondering if my family will be able to watch me finish without purchasing a spectator package?? Also, will I have to pay to get into the Expo for bib pick up?? Thank you

    Hi Shawna!

How exciting!  The Princess Half Marathon is an amazing race, and I know you will love it:)

Your family can watch you at various areas (including inside the Magic Kingdom and at the finish area) without having to purchase a chEAR squad package.  The packages just include some reserved seating and other perks for spectators, but it is not required.  You will find more instructions for spectators with viewing areas and transportation methods closer to race time on the Princess Half Marathon website, under the tab "SPECTATORS".    Feel free to contact me here if you have additional questions about it.

And, no one will have to pay to get into the expo for packet pick-up.  You can enter the ESPN Wide World of Sports for free during the expo days.  (the location is subject to change, though, but you won't have to pay, regardless.  Last year, it moved to a resort due to scheduling conflicts, but it is projected to be back at the sports complex for next year's race)

I hope this helps!  Please let me know if you have any other questions.
