Hiya Vinod! Thanks for running by planDisney with your question!
I'm excited about your upcoming runDisney trip for the
Disney Princess Half Marathon. My wife and I trained for a half marathon last year and the amount of hard work and dedication that it took to be able to run that distance is a testament to the two of you! Couple that with the event taking place at the Walt Disney World Resort and you are going to have a blast doing this together!
Part of the fun of planning is deciding where to stay during your visit! Walt Disney World has a plethora of resort options that will fit every type of budget. While each resort is amazing in its own way, some come with higher and lower price tags.
Disney's Pop Century Resort is a fan favorite, incredibly themed, and will not break the bank. Having easy transportation options with the Disney Skyliner makes this resort a top choice.
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is the perfect moderate resort that not only has great accessibility to the parks and neighboring resorts but also has wonderful dining and recreation options. Between Sebastian's Bistro, Banana Cabana, and the main pool area, you'll be able to enjoy a delicious dinner and fantastic cocktails, all while enjoying a lively pool area. You're also within walking distance of
Disney's Riviera Resort, which in my opinion has the best restaurant at Walt Disney World in Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera.
If you enjoy deluxe accommodations, there are several
Deluxe Disney Resorts to choose from for your upcoming stay. Let's stick to the EPCOT Resort area and mention a few amazing choices over here. Disney's Beach and Yacht Club Resorts should both be considered on this trip. You are steps away from the back entrance to EPCOT and only a short boat ride to Disney's Hollywood Studios. There are several table service restaurants within walking distance, including the restaurants along Disney's Boardwalk. If Topolino's Terrace is at the top of the list,
Flying Fish is right next to it. The service, food, and atmosphere are all top-notch reasons to try this location out.
In addition to the few resorts mentioned above, there are still several more that we haven't even touched on. I suggest choosing a resort close by to where you plan to spend most of your time. If the Magic Kingdom is where you will be, then I would highly consider one of the resorts that sit along the monorail loop for easy access to the park. No matter where you decide, as long as you are staying in a Disney Resorts Hotel or other select hotels, you will receive complimentary transportation to your
runDisney race!
Vinod, I can't be more excited about your upcoming visit!
