For the runDisney Wine & Dine 2023 10K will the monorails from the Ticket & Transportation Center to Epcot be running before the race? I've used it in the past, just not sure about shorter events. I'm staying at the Polynesian Resort.

Hi Vanessa! Welcome back to planDisney.

Tomorrow may not be Coronation Day, but it is runDisney Registration Day! Be sure your runDisney account is up to date and you sign in before 10:00 AM EST. I usually start hitting the refresh button about 15 -10 minutes before the scheduled virtual queue. Sometimes, you can get in line early. And do not refresh your page once you get in, that will put you straight to the back.

I did check out the Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend Transportation Information. At this time, it simply tells you to check back closer to your race day. Usually, that means, when the Digital Guide goes live, exact information will be provided. However, if history is our guide here, the monorail system does not run during the early hours of runner transportation. But, from my experience, the buses are lined up and ready to board about 15-20 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. Personally, I am always on the first bus to catch character photos before the crowds arrive.

I highly recommend the Post-Race Party. While entry is not included with the 10K race, I still think this is a party not to be missed. The exclusive party gets started at 10:00 PM, but your ticket will gain you entry as early as 5:00 PM. In my experience, by 11:00 PM, the park starts to thin out and you can literally walk onto many rides. Last year, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind stayed open to party-goers until closing time.
