I would like to run the Princess Half Marathon with my daughter (14 yrs). Is there any way to ensure we will be in the same group? Thank you!!!

    Hi Tara!

I love the runDisney experience-seeing the sun rise over the parks, running through Cinderella Castle while a royal trumpeter peals, and planning a fun Disney themed outfit. What a fantastic mother daughter event running the Disney Princess Half Marathon will be for you two!

Corral placement is based on previous performance that you submit- proof of time. For 2021, proof of time is only needed if you plan to complete the half marathon in under 2:00. (Who are these speedy people?) If you and your daughter, like me, are likely to take over two hours to finish the course, submit a similar, realistic, estimated race time. This is likely to get you placed in the same corral. In the past, runDisney has allowed runners to fall back to a lower lettered corral so friends and families of different speeds may run together. So if you do receive different placements, the faster one can go down to the slower corral. Covid protocols, however, might change some of the ways runDisney previously managed races.

Hope you both run like the wind!
