I want to run the Disney Princess 1/2 Marathon. Is it best to just register for the run and book travel later? I noticed that you get a price break on hotel/park tickets when registering for a running event...once you are registered do they send a link?

    Hi Jackie!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Registration for Disney's Princess Half Marathon actually went on sale today, July 12, 2016. I usually register for the race as soon as possible, because they have a tendency to sell out quickly.

There are not usually any special resort/ticket discounts for runners during race weekends offered by runDisney.  Travel providers may be able to provide discounted rates if you book packages through them. You can find information about travel providers on the "travel providers" tab of the same Princess Half registration page.

You can also learn more on this Walt Disney World travel sections of the website or by calling 407-939-4786.  Your best bet for finding discounted rooms is to watch the Walt Disney World Special Offers page. There are often discounts that apply to race weekends.

I hope this helps!  Please let me know if you have any other questions.
