    is a 5 k run still available at Disney in 2016? I am looking for information. Thank you kindly for your help. This will be my first run. My husband asked why not run local instead of going to Florida.. Its a DISNEY run.... need I say more?

    Yes! There will be plenty of 5K race events available through runDisney in 2016. And you're so right, nothing beats running Disney. Every mile is magic! 

    Here are dates that have been confirmed so far for 2016 runDisney 5K opportunities at Walt Disney World® Resort:

    • Walt Disney World® 5K presented by Cigna® - Thursday, January 6th, 2016. On sale April 28th, 2015.
    • Disney Princess 5K presented by Children's Miracle Network Hospitals - Friday, February 19th, 2016. On sale July 14th, 2015.

    More will be confirmed throughout the year. I also suggest signing up for runDisney Email Notifications. This is a complementary service that will keep you up-to-date on registration information and race details. Just select the highlighted link above to get started.
