Hello there, Alexandra! Welcome aboard planDisney where my panelist pals and I are happy to help you as you plan for adventure with the Disney Cruise Line.
Disney Cruise Line continues to evaluate their plans to promote health and safety for both its Crew Members and Guests, as they strive to deliver an incredible experience for all onboard. The current vaccination guidelines for guests sailing from the US, Puerto Rico, and Canada state that all guests ages 12 and older are required to be vaccinated against COVID-19 at the time of sailing, as defined by the CDC. To stay up to date with the protocols that Disney Cruise Line is following, I recommend that you regularly read the
Guide to Updated Experiences page on the Disney Cruise Line website. This section of the website is updated frequently and provides key information about how to prepare for your cruise and what to expect onboard the ship.
Once you have booked your stateroom for your desired itinerary, the next step is to download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. You'll be able to utilize the app to reserve cruise activities when your booking window opens. You can also use the app to check in to your cruise reservation 30 days prior to your sailing, and once you step onboard, it's where you will go to see all of the activities scheduled for your voyage.
The last piece of the planning puzzle is to decide what you'd like to do in each port that you visit along your journey. Disney Cruise Line offers lots of
Port Adventures to choose from if you would like to reserve guided activities. Or you can plan to spend the day off of the ship exploring on your own. Some guests even prefer to stay onboard the Disney Dream and spend the day riding the
AquaDuck and solving mysteries with the
Midship Detective Agency. It's your vacation, so you get to choose!
I hope your cruise is an absolute DREAM! Please visit planDisney again if you have any further questions. We'd love to assist you.
Happy Sailing,
Adrianna
