What are the rules regarding bringing in outside food to the parks? May I bring in a picnic lunch/dinner, or only snack items? Thank you!

    Hi Elaine!!!

Thank you so much for your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel!!!

I definitely cannot blame you for wanting to bring in some food items to help save you some money!  The main limitations to bringing in food to the theme parks are that you cannot bring alcohol or glass containers.  My family always takes in snacks and drinks to enjoy during the course of a day in the theme parks.  We also will sometimes bring sandwiches and chips for lunch to save a little extra money.  I would just be very cautious in how much food you do bring as you will have to keep up with it.  Large coolers are on the prohibited items list as they can be quite cumbersome.

I hope this helps and that you have a magical day!!
