Will the rules of express priority checkout keep us from visiting the parks for a few hours after checkout before our flight time later that afternoon? During our stay, we will use magic bands for all charges. We will still have valid park hopper tickets.

    Hi there Joan!

I'm so glad that you decided to visit the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.
Even once you've officially 'checked out' of your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, your Key to the World Cards and/or MagicBands will still function during your last day. If you've purchased park tickets to include your last day, you'll certainly be able to pop into the park(s) for a final turn on your favourite attractions, to do a bit of shopping or pick up some treats for the road!

The functionality of your Card or Band opening your Resort Room door's touch point entry system will cease operation at 11am however your charging privileges (if you've assigned them with a credit card during check-in) as well as park tickets and Disney Dining Plan (if applicable) all remain active right up until midnight of your check-out day at Walt Disney World.

I hope this information helps you with your planning. Feel free to write me back if I can be of further assistance to you Joan. I'd love to hear from you again!

Wishing you a simply Magical time at Walt Disney World!
