In the rules for costumes this year at mnsshp it says for adults no mask. Is painting your face white count as a mask or would this be ok? We have tickets for Halloween night and we want to dress up as characters from Alice in Wonderland!!

    Hi Matt!

I am already counting the days until Mickeys Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. It is one of my very favorite times at Walt Disney World. You are absolutely correct that masks are not allowed for those over 14 years of age. To read specifics about all of the guidelines for the party, take a look HERE at the Walt Disney World website page. Painting your face white would not be considered wearing a mask so you should have no problem if you do that. Keep in mind (as explained on the website) that Disney reserves the right to make the call as to what is or is not appropriate. But as characters from Alice in Wonderland, I think you will be just fine.

Here's wishing you a Happy Halloween (just a little early!) and a magical visit to Walt Disney World. Have a great day!
