Yas Stuart! I love your style - 16 nights at the Most Magical Place on Earth! I'm especially delighted to welcome you back to planDisney.
The new
Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Single Pass offer a fantastic way to maximise your time in the Parks. Here's what we know so far about these new options for us, UK-based Guests.
Currently, Guests must be on US soil to access the advance purchase of the Lightning Lane Multi Pass or the Lightning Lane Single Pass. Once you arrive, as a
Disney Resort hotel Guest, you can book for your entire stay (up to two weeks). You might choose to purchase these passes for days later in your trip. One of the great features of the updated Lightning Lane Multi Pass is that you’ll know in advance which three rides are available and their timings for pre-bookable Lightning Lanes, giving you greater clarity before purchase. Beyond those initial three pre-bookable Lightning Lanes, all Guests are in the same boat on the day; once they tap into Lightning Lane access, Guests can book another on My Disney Experience. With 16 days in the magic, I imagine you'll experience all your Disney must-dos.
Virtual Queues remain the same for some of the newest and most popular rides. Right now, that includes Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. For this, you'll have an opportunity at 7 a.m. to nab a Virtual Queue spot. The main rule with Virtual Queues is that you can only hold one at a time. So if you manage to nab a Virtual Queue for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at 7 a.m., redeem it by riding the most epic ride of all time, then you are free to follow the same process and get another Virtual Queue later that same day. To join a Virtual Queue at 1 p.m., you must be in the same Park as the ride for which you wish to attain the Virtual Queue.
I hope this information helps, Stuart! Have the best time immersed in that Disney bubble for 16 days - no amount of time is ever quite enough, eh?! Feel free to reach out if you have any more questions!
Louise
