Hi Christian, welcome to planDisney!
Thanks so much for bringing your question to us, I'm happy to help!
According to the
Disneyland Resort Rules, prohibited items include selfie sticks, hand-held extension poles for cameras or mobile devices, and tripods or monopod stands that cannot fit inside a standard backpack or that extend over six feet. From my experience, GoPros are allowed, and strapping them to your chest and/or head should also be allowed if you are not extending them on a hand-held extension pole. BUT please note that under prohibited activities, it also says that photography, videotaping, or recording of any kind, or otherwise engaging in any activity, for unapproved commercial purposes is prohibited.
I hope that helps, and I hope you have the most magical time on your visit! But before I let you go, did you know that many beloved experiences have started to return? The traditional character meet and greets have returned, which means Mickey and all his Pals are ready to give out the best hugs and sign your autograph books! AND many of the fantastic nighttime experiences are back as well!
The Main Street Electrical Parade and
Disneyland Forever fireworks at Disneyland Park, and
World of Color at Disney California Adventure Park have all returned! And my personal favorite,
Fantasmic! is set to return on May 28, 2022!
See ya real soon!
