    Since the rule has changed and you have to use a credit card to reserve a sit down dinner, can you use a Visa/MC/AMEX Gift Card to reserve dining reservations? I do not feel comfortable giving my debit card and we do not use credit cards.

    You may certainly use a gift card if the restaurant requires pre-payment.  For example, Cinderella's Royal Table requires guests to pay in advance.  Many of the dinner shows require payment up front.  If the restaurant does not, you will need a credit card to reserve your spot.
