Is there a rule on what you are allowed to embroider? Could I put something like grad 2025 or a nickname like bumblebee?

Hey there, hi there, Madelyn! Welcome to planDisney. We are so glad you took the time to stop by and ask us a question!

I love to hear that you are thinking about personalizing some merchandise on your upcoming visit to Disneyland! One of my friends and I were oohing and ahhing over the embroidery possibilities with some of the new Vault Collection for the 70th Celebration. When it comes to embroidering merchandise, it just depends on the item. Not all apparel is suitable for embroidery. You can talk with a Cast Member at the embroidery station to see if an item you are considering is a good fit for embroidery, as well as where you want the embroidery located and what you want it to say. Your ideas for embroidery seem like they would be a feasible option! Again, it will just depend on the item and how much room there is to embroider.

Each location will have a binder or options displayed as far as fonts, symbols, and thread color. Please note that embroidery is only available on select items that are same-day purchases and have a receipt. I also recommend that you make this a priority earlier in your park day as the turnaround time for you to pick it up will vary depending on how many customizations are ahead of you. I recommend Disney Showcase in Disneyland Park, as it's super easy to pop into right as you enter the parks and hit Main Street. If you will be in Disney California Adventure Park, Los Feliz Five & Dime has embroidery services. There is also World of Disney in the Downtown Disney District.

Madelyn, thanks so much for stopping by! I can't wait for you to bring home your personalized Disneyland souvenir!

Well hello there, friend! I'm Carrie, a work-from-home mom and military wife who currently calls sunny San Diego home. You'll find my family in the parks braving drops and coasters to work up our appetite to take as many snack breaks as we can. While Disneyland is our home away from home, we love trying to make a Walt Disney World Resort vacation happen at least once a year now too. All my friends know I'm the go-to for Disney advice, so I'm here to help you plan and experience the magic on your visit! Learn More About Carrie
