Hi Kathy!
My family loves using the Disney Dining Plan. We have used the Quick-Service Dining Plan, the (regular) Disney Dining Plan, and the Deluxe Dining Plan. Overall I have to say my favorite is the (regular) Disney Dining Plan which entitles each person to 1 quick-service meal, 1 table-service meal, and 1 snack per night per person. One of my favorite things about the dining plan is that I can order any entrée that appeals to me and not be concerned about its individual price.
With the
Disney Dining Plan you do not have to order from a special menu. For each table-service location you may order 1 entrée, 1 dessert, and 1 drink per person. For the buffets your table-service credit entitles you to the full buffet and your drink. Some table-service restaurants and Special Dining Experiences (such as Cinderella's Royal Table and Hoop Dee Doo Revue) do require 2 Table-Service credits. Click on the previous link for the Disney Dining Plan to read more about the details.
It sounds like you already have made Advanced Dining Reservations. If so you should check to make sure those restaurants accept the Disney Dining Plan as payment. If ever in doubt whether a particular restaurant accepts the Disney Dining Plan, call the Disney Dining Reservations phone number at 407-939-5277 to check.
Thank you for your question Kathy. If you have any further questions about the Disney Dining Plan or other Disney vacation planning topic please come back and ask it here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We love to help!
Blessings,
