Royal Suite - we were told there was none available in Dec 2012 for the days we will be there. Should we give up hope of getting one? I really want this so I can feel more of the Disney 'magic'!

    Hello again Heni!

If staying in a Royal Guest Room is truly something you want to do on your magical vacation, then I suggest calling 407-934-7639 daily to see if an opening has come up.  We have found a lot of openings occur around 45 days prior to our vacation as that is the deadline for cancellations and changes (without penalties) for packages.

You will still feel plenty of Disney magic even if you're unable to book a Royal Guest Room! The Royal Guest Rooms, while phenomenal, are still the same size and come with the same amenities as the standard rooms at Disney's Port Orleans Resorts.  The difference is in the decor.  I still love the decor in the standard rooms as well.

I'm a firm believer in finding the magic wherever it may be, and at Walt Disney World, magic is around every corner.  Also keep in mind you won't be spending the majority of your vacation in your resort room.  You'll be out and about, finding magic in the theme parks, water parks, Downtown Disney, and resorts.

Keep trying the reservations center and see if a spot comes open.  Hopefully some pixie dust falls your way and you're able to book your Royal Guest Room.  If not, you'll still have a very magical vacation!

    Faith, trust, and pixie dust,
    Ashley
