Hi Michael,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question. Earlier this year, we celebrated our daughter’s birthday with a stay in a Royal Guest Room at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside, and we loved being Guests of Princess Tiana. It was an experience fit for a princess, and both my children loved the wonderful, magical Disney details all around the room.
The Royal Guest Rooms can be found in two buildings at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside: Oak Manor and Parterre Place. These building are home to all the Royal Guest Rooms, and no other types of rooms are located in these buildings. The other two buildings in the Magnolia Bend Mansions section of the resort, Acadian House and Magnolia Terrace, are home to regular, non-Royal Guest rooms.
Michael, there are many different categories of rooms at this resort, so I recommend taking a look at the “
Room Rates” section of the resort’s web site. Royal Guest Rooms are broken down by view type, while the rest of the rooms break down based on view, Preferred location, and 5th Sleeper room types. For more information about these rooms, I recommend reaching out to the Cast Members on the Reservations team at (407) 939-1936.
Enjoy your stay at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside, Michael. There are so many great recreation options at this resort, and it’s lovely to just wander the grounds and take in the beautiful landscaping and theming around this resort and its sister resort, Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter.
As Tiana sings, “make a wish and hold on tight, there’s a magic in the air tonight” – and I can’t wait for you to experience the magic at this lovely resort.
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
