Hear ye, hear ye! Royal Greetings to you and your entire kingdom, Liz! I'm so excited to welcome you to planDisney and even more thrilled that you'll be visiting Disneyland Resort in just a few short weeks!
As a mom to a pair of tiny princesses in my own household, meeting our royal friends at Disneyland Resort is always at the top of our list when planning our family vacations.
The Royal Hall in Fantasyland is a wonderful place to visit with up to three Disney Princesses at a time, and I'd highly recommend it for some dedicated time and great photo opportunities! Currently, I don't see the Royal Hall listed on the "closed for refurbishment" section of the
Hours & Events Calendar. This is always my personal preferred resource when looking for schedules and showtimes. However, I also noticed that the schedules for when Princesses will be visiting the Royal Hall have not yet been released for the month of May and I'm wondering if that is why it appears closed when searching for your date. Keep checking back online or in the official Disneyland mobile app and I'll be wishing on that evening star that you can find more information to plan your perfectly royal visit soon!
Liz, let me share a couple of other alternatives that might also be of interest to you, in the event that the Royal Hall is not available for your visit. If you love princess stories, you might enjoy
Storytelling at Royal Theatre which highlights beloved tales of
Tangled and
Beauty and the Beast on stage! My kids also love meeting the Frozen sisters of Arendelle over at Disney California Adventure Park in
Anna & Elsa's Royal Welcome. You can find this character encounter inside the Animation Building in Hollywood Land. And don't forget that many characters will often wander and roam around the theme parks - it's one of the most special and unique things about Disneyland Resort! You can use the
official Disneyland mobile app to see the expected times that characters might appear and the map feature will display where they may be located.
I hope these are some helpful hints, Liz. If we can assist with any other questions as you continue planning your visit, please feel welcome to call on
planDisney again!
Wishing you a fairytale come true,
Tishra
