Hey there, Jessica! Thanks for sailing on over to planDisney with your royal inquiry. I'm so excited to hear that you have a magical and merry
Disney Cruise Line vacation planned for December, and it's my pleasure to lend a helping hand with some details to make it a practically perfect trip.
My girls and I did the
Royal Court Royal Tea several years ago, and they absolutely loved it! It's a really fun experience, and Guests are made to feel like royalty, from being announced at the start to having some nice interactions with several Disney princesses. The tea is offered on select cruises on the
Disney Wonder, including 3-night sailings. You can bring a favorite outfit from home, or perhaps surprise your little ones with some new fancy attire for the occasion!
Jessica, bookings for the tea tend to fill up FAST, so be sure that you know when your booking window for onboard activities opens so you can hopefully snag a reservation. I also recommend making it an outing for one adult with the kids if possible, due to the cost. We kept it to a mother-daughter experience, and my husband was quite content to have some free time to read by the adults-only Quiet Cove Pool!
In the event you aren't able to get a reservation for the Royal Tea, don't worry! There are plenty of other opportunities to meet the Disney princesses during every DCL sailing. The
Royal Gathering meet-and-greet is a free experience that requires reservations. You'll have the opportunity to meet several princesses at one time and get photos with them. Once onboard, check the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App, where you can find specific times to meet individual characters (including princesses!) around the ship.
I hope this information is helpful for your planning purposes, Jessica! Thanks again for visiting planDisney, and please come back and see us again anytime if we can help with other questions to make your cruise as magical as can be.
SEA Ya Real Soon!
