Can I round the monorail round trip, or will I be required to get off and load back on for the return trip?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Joy! I’d love to help you start planning your magical adventures at the Disneyland Resort!

I’m happy to report that you can take a round trip on the Disneyland Monorail, starting at the Tomorrowland station inside Disneyland Park. You’ll make one stop at the Downtown Disney District station, where you can exit to check out the wonderful dining and entertainment options, or opt to stay on board for the return trip to Disneyland Park. The Tomorrowland station can be found directly above Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage. If you happen to have a stroller with you, just keep in mind that strollers will need to be folded on the Disneyland Monorail and Disneyland Railroad. Or, if you’re planning on a round trip, you can leave your stroller at the convenient Stroller Parking area located near the exit of Autopia. Trains run approximately every ten minutes, so you shouldn’t have to wait long.

If you don’t mind waiting a bit longer, I recommend asking to sit in the front or back section of the monorail. Weather-permitting, these cabins are a fun way to experience the Monorail! (Sometimes these cabins aren’t open when the weather is too warm). My children love sitting in the front especially, where they can chat with the Cast Member navigating the Monorail.

The Disneyland Monorail and Disneyland Railroad are my favorite ways to rest my feet and take in the sights and sounds of the Happiest Place on Earth! You’re going to love viewing the Resort from these special points of view.

Please stop by with any additional planning questions, Joy. Wishing you many magical moments!
