Our Resistance forces will be thrilled to learn that you are planning a visit to Batuu!
If the process remains the same by the time of your visit, each member of your party will need to use the
My Disney Experience Mobile App to
join a boarding group for
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance once you have entered the park. The process potentially gets more complicated the more people you need to add as you try to join a boarding group. Essentially, you will use the My Disney Experience Mobile App to select each individual in your My Family & Friends List who needs to join a boarding group. If you are able to join a boarding group, depending on your boarding group number, you should be able to experience the attraction later in the day.
On one of our visits, this process worked just fine while on another, the mobile app would not read three members of my family as in the park, so I could not select them to join a boarding group. We had to find a Cast Member to assist and, luckily, were able to experience the attraction later that evening. If each individual has a My Disney Experience account and the mobile app downloaded, then each person could join a boarding group individually. The chance you take with the individual strategy is that you all might get different boarding groups and those groups may not be called at the same time.
With respect to boarding the actual attraction, you will receive a push notification through the My Disney Experience Mobile App when it is time to return to board. There were also signs in the park when we were there that displayed the current boarding groups throughout the day. We boarded the attraction in smaller groups - stay vigilant. The First Order gives quick instructions and they expect everyone to comply!
While on Batuu, be sure that you take the time to sharpen your hacking and translation skills using your
Star Wars: Datapad on Play Disney Parks Mobile App. Share a beverage with other Resistance allies at
Oga's Cantina, and revel in the secrets of lightsaber building at
Savi's Workshop.

Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run and we remain hopeful that the Resistance will be victorious!
