Rotating dining staff and restaurants? How does that work? ONLY 2 of us-will we sit with other couples or family? (our 28th anniversary) First Disney Cruise May 2013!

    Hi Denise,

I LOVE rotational dining!  When you arrive onboard you will find a ticket in your stateroom that will tell you what restaurant you are assigned to and on which day.  The servers that you have on the first night will follow that schedule with you.  It's wonderful because after the first evening your Server and Assistant Server will know what your favorite drinks are, if there are any food allergies in your party, and what you like and don't like.  If you ask for a Mickey ice cream bar for dessert on the first night, they'll bring you one every night without you having to ask!  They are all about making you happy.  I know that by the end of the week, I feel as if I'm saying good bye to family members.  I've even exchanged emails with a few of them!

If you want to sit by yourselves, please call Disney Cruise Line before sailing and have them put your request in your reservation.  Please, also let them know that you are celebrating your anniversary.  They do their absolute best to accommodate.  I'm sure you'll get your own table.

Congratulations on your 28th anniversary!  That's a HUGE deal....you're going to love your first Disney cruise.  Bon voyage Denise!

Magic Kingdom still takes my breath away, but my favorite place to be is on a Disney ship looking at the horizon and breathing in that crisp, clean ocean air!  I love planning Disney vacations for others and making sure it's more than they dreamed. Learn More About Marisol
