Hey there, Lissette! Welcome to planDisney!
I could not be more excited to see that you have a magical adventure at the Most Magical Place on Earth right on the horizon and that you plan on enjoying the Rose and Crown Fireworks Dining Package. My family and I love the food and fireworks view at this dining experience so much that we try to snag a reservation almost every visit. I'm more than happy to fill you in on the fantastic food options for the little Mouseketeers!
I think you will be happy to hear that the children in your party will be offered a separate kids' prix-fixe menu at the
Rose and Crown Fireworks Dining Package. While menus are subject to change, the last time my family and I were there, my daughter's menu included a salad with ranch dressing as an appetizer, either grilled chicken with brown rice and carrots or fish and chips as the entree, and a choice of either fruit salad or seasonal gelato with berries for dessert. These options are also listed on the allergy-friendly kids' menu. My daughter is still working on eating her veggies, so the server let her substitute her salad for fruit, and she absolutely loved the fish and chips.
Disney dining locations are second to none when
accommodating food allergies or preferences, and they can easily accommodate common food allergies without any advance notice. However, when you make your dining reservations, I recommend making note of any special dietary needs or requests. Then, once you arrive at the restaurant, be sure to let your server know about any food allergies in your party. You can even request to speak with the chef or a special diets-trained Cast Member to ensure that your kiddo is safe and sound with a full tummy. If anyone in your party has four or more allergy-friendly requests, I recommend emailing Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com to request a Special Dietary Request Form no more than 14 days before your arrival. Food is an important part of a Walt Disney World vacation, so it's good to get your Donald Ducks in a row!
Lissette, if you don't have any dietary restrictions, I must recommend the Scotch Egg, Shepherd's Pie, and Sticky Toffee Pudding. Mmmm. In my experience, dessert is served right before the fireworks begin, and it's the sweetest way to enjoy the show!
I hope this helps, Lissette, and I hope you and your family have a pixie-dusted vacation, full of food and fun! Please feel free to stop by any time with any questions you may have along the way.
Chase the wind and touch the sky,
Mandy
